Motion graphics / broadcast design

I have been doing motion graphics design for over a decade, was a part of the pioneering stages of the industry, and had the great pleasure working with some of the best studios, clients, and designers. My work includes award winning projects that vary from different mediums, styles, budgets, and clientele. Below are selected strictly motion / broadcast design projects.

Dish Network: Social

Motion graphics design work at Dish ranges from video editing, color keying, composition, color correcting, storytelling, designing / animating lower thirds, transitions, and titles. Social videos include brands like Dish Network, Sling, Circle TV, ESPN and Dish Latino -here are several of them.

Apple Pay + Chase announcement

Apple and Chase secretly partnered up for a new product called Apple Pay, and I was asked to create this announcement video for it’s launch. Since it was a secret -the original assets that were given to me to layout and animate ended up being placeholder. Once I got the real assets I had to quickly(a day) re-think the layout, animations, effects, and flow within new and strict design limitation. Video was displayed in Times-square and video walls of various dimensions inside branch locations across the nation. Here is a cellphone recording of the video playing outside Times-square.

Les Schwab -The Rock

This is the first of a series of Les Schwab commercials in this design style made with Digital Kitchen Chicago. The style was very unique and strong when it came out. I mainly did the environments / backgrounds using on location (Pacific North West) photos and manipulating them in photoshop to give the desired framing, layout, depth and look.
